Hey Guys:
By show of hands; how many people are interested in listing their Locomotive Rosters?
Any scale, maybe we could list our Tyco/Mantua's first and go from there. This could be a useful resource for the forum as it would allow a ready reference for people needing info, they could ask someone who has one!?
Anyway I'm going to start and list mine. I think I have about 45-55 locomotives. I don't recommend pictures as it will suck up too much space!

Sounds like a fun project to me too. Once I get my layout settled a bit more, probably a week or two I'll get rolling on my list.

Gareth,
I like that idea, then if someone is looking for something or wants some advice they could ask and if a pic of a specific engine was asked for it could be posted that way. One suggestion I might have is to remark whether the engine is in original colors or redone. Die hard Tyco fans would probably know right off but it is only a suggestion.

Hey Romcat, Any chance you might be able to post/PM a photo of that Bowser H16-66? I just finished cutting down an Athearn H24-66 into an H16-66.

Interesting stuff, but the format is kind of hairy. If there were an easy way to have thumbnail pics or something, that would be fun and worthwhile. Otherwise it's just a list of stuff. Attachable spreadsheets would be better, but that's a lot of work.
The crux is, if someone has a question about a loco, I wouldn't expect them to have to sift through a DuPont Registry of old trains to find out who has it. If someone asks a question, hopefully someone else so positioned will answer.
Myself, I wouldn't be able to remember or care who has or claims to have what. But, I do see some lists that don't jive with what others have told me they "weren't interested in" (but bought on ebay within the week; hmm is that included yet, I wonder [V]). Not to be a party pooper, but given all that - count me out.

I agree with GoinginCirclez. The roster posting was a good idea, but this isn't really a good way to do it. What about if there was a section in the user profiles to post ur rosters?...or is the profile layout locked?
