This is, supposedly, a brand new, never used model. I have heard of it but don't know what it's worth and value is. If I were to bid on it what would be the highest I should go?
And it has the matching caboose as well.

Hey Vince, If you go to eBay and search for the Royal Blue and then when you get the results, look in the column on the left and you will see a box (among others) that says "sold listings". Click on the "sold listings" and the results that come up will be all the Royal Blues that sold and how much they sold for. Good luck.

* Well it aint like new and is missing parts. Just glancing at it, even with a bad photo, I see tender truck side frame is missing and handrail for the pilot steps. toptrain.

That's one of the first things I noticed. That would definitely take away value from it.

So in it's present condition we're talking what? $10.00, $15.00, $20.00?

I sold a mint one of those a few years ago for $40. It's harder to find than most of the other roadnames.

I just bought one of these through my model train store job, boss sold it to me for $25, in the box. :) I was VERY happy to get a "new" one for that. I've sen them sell for double that loose.
