It was late one night and I was about to go to bed. As I laid there I realized I had not put my tablet back on the charger. Reluctantly got back up, plugged it in and just before I put it down decided to see if anything good was on Ebay. As soon as I logged on it was there, I could not believe my eyes, right in front of me was the yellow Delaware & Hudson caboose. The kicker it was “Buy It Now” for $3!! My wife kept saying “What’s wrong, what’s wrong”, I said I think I’m looking at one of the rarest TYCO cabooses out there. Her response was “I thought you said you were done with buying trains”. I went to GIC’s web site and verified it was the same caboose and not a clone. After it checked out I got it.

Microbusses, of course TYCO made a D&H loco, the blue and grey super 630, this was the caboose that went with the set in the early 70's.

I can relate to that. Although I find I'm at a sort of equilibrium now for the most part. I will go on a acquisition tear for awhile, then go through a bunch of stuff and sell off some. It's a fun part of the hobby to me

Is this what you're talking about?
Believe it or not, this is one of the few Tyco engines that I can find true prototypes to.

Now that's a typical wife response to the excitement and magnitude of the situation, while failing to see the importance of the discovery! My wife's favorite line by the way! Every time I come up with a new and exciting rare find!.
Well done GG-1!!
