Hello everyone! I have a life like 3500 that needs a 30 tooth gear and hand rails. Can anyone help? I would add a picture but I don't know if that's possible.

Sounds like the Santa Fe GP38. Not worth the time to fix IMHO, very low end low value locomotive.

I have to say yes to that. In fact, I think these are much cheaper quality than any other model railroad company ever.I've seen them. They're terrible. I don't even know why they are called "Life-Like" they're not life like at all.

Thanks for the reply. I pretty much knew it was a low end locomotive, but as a kid that is all I had. I got it for cheap and wanted to see if it was a better quality product than my Tyco/Mantua locomotives I had as a kid. The ones you can't easily work on. Thanks for the picture link as well.
