Starting off small this week, after a couple weeks of LOTW abstinence, I present this fine little B&O 2-axle diesel switcher. Got it yesterday from the train shop I work at, Boss has been getting in some fine lots of stuff, with both N and HO. Lucky guy had a couple boxes of N gauge items just given to him. Anyway, this Hustler runs really well, I have some like it, but they don't run near as good as this one. Made by Lima, it will join my growing N gauge collection, and hope to run this one more often, once I get my N track permanently out somewhere in the house.

My LOTW, Proto 2000 E7A with sound. In my favorite paint scheme.

We have one of those little 0-4-0's on a narrow gauge mine train on one of our HO scale modules. It runs kind of jerky which only adds to the charm.

Proto 1000 F-3. I just changed out a cracked axle and the engine glides on the track now. The B unit was ordered and on its way.

Only problem I found with the TTs is the magnets would grab the switches & derail I figure take out magnets & replace them with lead weights instead

My LOTW are a pair of AHM Monon BL2s I found at a train show a few weeks ago. I used to think of them as an ugly duckling, but the design is starting to grow on me. The Monon paint scheme doesn't hurt.

I don't know what drew me to this model, but I have well over 20 by now, some in custom paint jobs off Ebay. I think it's the "wave crest" design, I never thought they were ugly, just different. I also have some Monons, I'm not sure all dummies or any are powered. But I do <3 these EMD engines! So that's 2 Jerry votes for BL-2's.

I'm gonna say the Athearn one will win because the motors for those Tyco Turbo Trains were awful. At least, so I've heard. In terms of how cool they look, I'd say the Turbo Train wins. The Athearn one just looks flat out odd.

Wow, that's a pretty big honor! I do have to admit that it doesn't run, in fact the trucks are also solid bronze and would short out on any layout unless it was battery powered. If anyone is interested in how this locomotive was made I posted the progress in steps in the AHM section of the forum.
