I need:

414182 Southern Pacific Lark Dark Gray
110131 Southern Pacific Lark Light Gray
414183 Southern Pacific Scarlet
110010 Engine Black

I also need power trucks and side frames for the AHM GP7/9/18.

I'm also interested in any AHM diesel with both trucks powered or able to install power trucks.

And if anyone has a Life-like C-638 dual power truck diesel I would be interested. Doesn't even have to run.

I'm fairly certain I have floquil SP Scarlet, that I would part with. Bottle opened and a tiny amount used for one project.

I have several AHM GP18's and a couple of power trucks. Let me get a list and pictures of what I have, later this evening. I have an affection affliction for those ol' Geeps.

Unspoken expectations are premeditated failures.

Here is what I found so far:

Project loco. The chassis has a broken pilot and is missing most of the handrails. I cut the pilots off of old Athearn GP7 shells for this and use Precision Scale handrails. I also have another motor to go with it. I'd like to have $4.00 for this plus shipping.

Nice loco, does run. The only defect I'm aware of is the bell is broken off. I'd like $10 plus shipping for this.

No dice on the Floquil SP paint.

[okay] I'm definitely interested in these two. I don't need the motors since I re-power with Mashima Can Motors and A-Line flywheels. So if you have a use for them....

I'm going into the hospital for some surgery and I'll be in for about two weeks so that would be the soonest I could get them.

Let me know what else you have.

2 weeks out for surgery, sounds serious.

Here is another loco. I found in my stash. It's all stock. The rear pilot, steps, and handrails have been repaired. The hood ends have been drilled for miniature headlights. The roof has been repainted by me. Motor hums but train don't move. But, since you remotor, I don't think thats any concern. $5.00 plus shipping. Of course, I'll combine them all for best shipping price.

Looks like NC Shortlines has you covered, but if you're still needing that SP Scarlet I saw a bottle at the hobby store yesterday.
They are replacing all the Floquil with a brand (the name escapes me right now) that is obviously formulated for airbrushing alone. Has an acetone base. Bought a bottle a few weeks ago of grimy black and it was a total waste if you want to use it as brush paint.

I think you might be talking about Tru-Color paint. Read about them, today. They are railroad specific colors, too.

Thanks,
Vince

yes that's it - Tru-Color. I'm sure it's great for airbrushing but I loved the Floquil for their regular paintbrush qualities, so unfortunately not a good replacement.

E-bay has a large Flo-quil sale. I'll try to post the link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/380844745167?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
