My D&RGW 12-Wheeler Custom Job

I recently purchase a Red Box Set that included a Union Pacific 4-6-2 for next to nothing! One of the only issues with the set was that the loco had a broken pilot. A search for an original replacement turned up nothing. However, until an original replacement can be found, I ran across a PFM FEF-1 pilot on eBay (Item#150541424653) for about $7.00! I simply cut out the original pilot beam and replaced the original with the PFM pilot. (Holes must be drilled to accept the handrails) The seller has a few of these left and, for those so inclined, can replace their broken pilot and add some UP style to their UP model! I'll post more photos as the repair progresses.

Here's the finished product! The nice thing is that the rides about 1/16" above the railhead giving it a very nice look on the track!
