A skilled craftsman.

Seller sold a whole fleet of exceptionally well done custom cars last week. I especially liked this one:

Like that Pickens, it is also a Mantua / Tyco 40' boxcar. But none ever left the factory with door tracks (or brakewheel) painted to match.

looks like Pickens Railroad used the same logo as the St Lawrence RR

Found the same car made out of an Athearn undec car at a show a few months back. Same decals. Turns out the real Pickens only had one of this car.

Microben, lots of shortlines used that logo and light blue color on their boxcars when they got bought up by the NRUC thing (Nat'l rail utilization company) in the 70's and received a few hundred new boxcars each.

I meant the logo looks the same as St Lawrence logo

Yes, they both used the same logo on leased boxcars in the 1970s after deregulation made it so they could be out there in general pool service from anyone, to anyone. Several other roads did as well.
