I remember that one...but how about a video with 1 locomotive hauling all of your loaded flat cars...as opposed to them being staged on the siding. That would be awesome!

Right..... Maybe 2 locos, separate, hauling half the number of flat cars you have, each.

26 flat cars per engine... that's 6-1/2 pounds of rolling stock. I still don't know about those Tyco engines pulling that...

You can do it just spend a ton of money on free rolling wheel sets and level the table to 20 microns.

Hi, Bamos… That's a 20 foot stretch you see in the long pic. I wanted one real good long straight for speed! The straight up the center of the layout is about 18 feet.

Here's a pic from the year 2000 of the buildings I had purchased at that time...

Thank You, Guys... Every since I opened all of my piggybacks for the short clip, I haven't had much room. This addition and the long side addition will allow me room for at least 72 freight cars... I want my rolling stock to be on the layout where people can see them. I have plenty of room for a third 20 foot rail but would have to add a small side so nothing can fall to the floor...

Yes, wks... I had an early fascination with they Tyco piggybacks. I have 10 trailers of each offered. Somehow, I have more than 10 of the white SF and the orange stock trailers... But that's OK too...

Chops, I have never seen the southern RR either. I can comfortably say that someone put this one together. This should totally complete my piggyback needs. I always said I wouldn't buy anymore. But the 4 flats were what I needed at a decent price. Sure hope there's no piggy trailers hidden in one of my few boxes now!!

Shark Master here.....good work Flat Master.

Yeah, Tyco didn't offer a Southern RR flat car for piggybacks, but it was made for the ever-popular log car, so someone obviously turned an empty Southern RR log car into a flat car. Looks good.

Was able tonight to transplant the motor and trucks into my D&H 630. I love the look of the Tyco D&H. I put just a 1/4 of a drop of oil on the armature tip because it had a light squeal. Runs like a new one now. I'm watching a damaged 630 on ebay that seller claims runs very smoothly. I need this power unit for a Santa Fe 630 that doesn't run...

HAS any one heard from RP?? He has not been on here for 8 days! Quite unusual...

Good work on the D&H, that is quite a piece.

Funny you mention it, have not heard from RP in a bit, either.
But then, there seems to be a winter doldrums sort of effect
going on, lately.

I'll be posting up a little later this week, lot of hours at work.

Seller sent an offer to sell at $14.99 so I bought it. I am going to use this power drive under my Santa Fe 630. However, the body has most of the hand rails still on it and I have the missing side off of the trucks...

Bought more splendid peach paint and painted the additional 20 feet of frame work... Will do at least one more coat to make sure all is covered well.
