This complicated reversing unit failed miserably, missing a chip, a bad sensor, sold it for a dollar on eBay. The Bachmann trolley reverser worked perfectly right out of the box and was a breeze to put together.
I've added a few more patrons since this video was shot. Hope to get it out to a model train show sometime this year.

Love it, Chops! That auto reversing function looks to work quite well. If you were to run an engine with a flywheel, or perhaps install a keep-alive circuit (I think that's the right term?) would the stop at each end be much smoother? I say that knowing there is limited space inside an HO subway car.

The motorized MTH coach does have flywheels. A slightly slower approach, well, I've seen these subway opertors, perhaps when having a bad day, wick on the brakes with little sympathy for the standees.
What I would aspire to is the same kind of care and neatness all your work demonstrates. Queens, or Queensville, I forget its name, sorry, is always showing its best face. Very tidy and professional looking.
