Thank you Walt, I feel like a kid in the candy store. These modelers have taken Tyco to a new level of amazing and delightful.
My problem is that I have no idea how to post photos of my own Tyco work to this forum.
One bit has me enter my browser and click on the photo I want to attach, but it takes like five minutes and gives me an error message that it is taking too long!
If anyone in the Forum can guide me in language appropriate for a 9 year old maybe I can figure this out. I am not sure if it is my general lack of computerese or if it is my #$% computer just not working.
I don't know a gigabyte from a frigabyte, but I do know the difference between Mantua and Tyco, pancake motor and rubber band drive!

I usually resize photos to about 800 pixels wide before uploading. At that, they sometimes time out, but usually do not. The software I use is either Adobe Photoshop, left over on my computer from a web design consulting job a few years back, or Microsoft Office Picture Manager. It's not a given that you'll have MS Office, either, since that usually does not come with the machine.
Perhaps some others on the forum know some cheaper tools for resizing photos?

Thanks Walt, I didn't realize it was so complicated. But the Forum is amazing, so I will pay the piper if I must. Until recently I was thinking I was the only Tycohead out there.

Welcome, new Tycohead! There are plenty of us here. Definitely have to resize photos, or it impedes uploading. There is probably some software on your PC that can do it easily, if you have a new Windows version, Paint will now do JPGs, not just BMP files anymore. You can resize pictures with that by percentage. since they normally run about 2500 pixels across with most cameras or phones with cameras, by doing 66% size reduction, that gets you to about 800 wide. Just a thought.
