A pair of Life-Like blinking crossing flashers. Haven't handled these in years but seems like both lights blink at once. One has been opened and i have separated the bulb wires. These will be hooked to An alternating flashing unit where they will work as real ones. They will sit on each side of my 4 lane at the group of rail crossings...

Mustangs_n_Trains - I is jealous of your purchase I think the red & yellow bus on the bottom is a Lindbergh Also the crane on the very bottom right is a Tomica copy Can't believe you found a Hot Wheels crane! I needs to find one like that! I'd like to see a closer pic of the truck in the Diamond pack
Walt - Weren't those listed as Super Light-Ups once?

In his original post he referred to it as a diesel shovel. It depicts something like this:

Found this the other day when I was doing some cleaning. Forgot I even had it. I'll pack it away for a future layout.

My AOTW is an HO scale millstone that I keep on the freight station platform. It is a real antique, dating back at least to the Triassic Period. (It is a fossil crinoid stem segment.) The skid is considerably newer.
Also in the shot is a two-wheel hand truck made by cutting a pattern out of paper, folding it and painting it, then gluing on wheels made of sprue cross sections and an axle made of wire. The cardboard box is folded from paper from a brown bag.

| Shaggy . . . what can be said? You are an amazing modeler. That handcart is very creative, and thanks for talking about how you did it. Pretty crazy about that fossil mill stone.

I second what Barry said about the hand truck! I don't think it would have occurred to me to use paper, but why not? Perfect cross section, and easy to shape. And I can't think of a more convincing way to make an HO scale cardboard box. It looks like brown paper because it IS brown paper! Love it!
