I'm getting pre-excited about the new home with basement and putting a lot of thought towards the hobby. I want to buy new Atlas code 100 silver track for my layout. I will run Tyco diesels and rolling stock other than about 5 each of Life-Like & AHM. Is the Atlas code 100 a good choice?

| Walt - Yes - Code 100 safe for all the old ho equipment as some have deep flanges that can tie tap on code 83 Atlas - Have been told Peco code 83 is slightly higher in height than Atlas code 83

Thank you, Justin, and Brian for the helpful info. MicroBen, I think there will be a few crossings on my layout, if you remember well...
