The Tyco Shock Control box cars... I had the dark short one in the 70s and have since replaced it. There is a red version that I would like to buy sometime. The long Shock control, is kinda neat looking. Need to pick up one of these sometime also...

Dirt common, should be fairly easy to find.

Walt, there are two versions of the 50 long shock control, one has the logo on the right and the other the logo is on the left. The verson with the logo on the right is hard to find.
As far as the 40 shock control cars there are 3 versions, all red, red w/ black roof and a circle DF on it, and the last one is like the second without the DF. Spider J has a fourth that is missing the load data on it and it also has a different color door on it. I think that is more of a error car.

thank you for the info GG-1 guy. There's red 40 on eBay now. My collection is pretty much done but I'll too it off with about 6 more train cars... I'm not into error cars or variations. I see something I like and buy it...
