The tracks are code 70 rail spiked directly on top of the deck. The deck itself is a piece of 2.5mm door skin plywood that I scribed to simulate the deck planks.

Redwoods,
The dock scene is great, right down to the seaweed and seal under the dock! I've seen quite a few harbor scenes, but you're the first I can think of who modeled the seaweed.
Kudos for creativity!

Redwoods I am really liking the paint scheme on that caboose. It is still managing to make a good case for itself after all these years. Great job.

My COTW:
A depressed all metal flatcar with a gear load:

Came in a set of vintage cars purchased for $41 incl s/h including my LOTW offering for today, a walthers articulated M-190 from the AT&SF. Awesome find that I spotted only a few hours before the end. I had been watching several of the sellers offerings previously and spotted the M-190 in the background. I asked him about it but never heard anything. Managed to snag it!

Frank, Yet again, a NICE Older MOW set!
Sean, That depress center with the gear, is that gear die-cast? It looks as tho it is.....the angle can play tricks on the camera.(and those looking at it) NICE snag too, I might add!

Well, while I'm here....I ought to contribute to huh?

Sadly, NOT a bad car, but its fate, (well you'll see later) isn't even a car!!! BUT while, its in "car" form......I thought I'd post it! Picked up at the last Train show, for a "Buck, Buck"

They are different, look at the steps having 2 in one corner along with ladder and the other car has cast on grab irons!!!!! INTERESTING, considering they are TYCO? right?

They are backwards from each other. Turn one around and they will be the same. Just as noted the lettering color is different.

Can you imagine a Sara Lee car full? I would enjoy heading into one of those with a gallon of milk and a fork.

My car of the week is one that is pretty rare and does not show up too often. I was looking on eBay and at first glance I thought it was a Union Pacific caboose in with some other cars and kept on going. Just by chance I wanted to look at the other cars and when I did I noticed that the Union Pacific caboose was actually the Rio Grande caboose.

This is the set the Rio Grande caboose goes with:
