| Regarding the caboose . . . does the caboose get close to something that trips that level underneath to move the little man to grab something? I'd love to see a little video of that.

Just a quib lever on the side snaps the door shut. Like a hair trigger.

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

Well, I ought to add my own COTW.....

A Vinegar car, from AHM.... Found at a local train show, back just before my Birthday, for $1.00 so.....Thought that was pretty good for such a car, to serve my pickle factory

Ben, Really? That's actually the car, I'm looking for! Got a spare? I'd trade that one for a Heinz car.....

Observing the COTW a bit late, I dug out this Rio Grande Observation car I'd bought a few shows ago to add to my already growing Obs collection.

Yes, the caboose actually comes with a train order stand and a small plastic triangle that represents the train order. John is right... the train order stand has a small ledge that activates a lever (the thing sticking out of the toolbox) on the side of the caboose and then the door snaps shut. It usually works pretty well actually. I didn't show it in the picture because the stand is packed away somewhere and I don't know which box its in
