Cheez, I'm not to fond of Penn Central I have to say, BUT being from Pennsylvania, has got me re-thinking at times as I like the ways the PC painted stuff as well as the B&O but dang, this set you got is the fuel to that and I have to limit myself somewhere!

Barry, that MOW train is all custom made!!!! Pretty much all the rolling stock in it, is custom made, from junk....The locomotive is the only "new" item bought.... which is the same loco seen in my shadow box on the lower track!
THANKS!!! The kids that have seen it, love the thing, specially around Christmas, in action "working"

Hi DaCheez,
Nice PC set you have there. I see it has no engine number, Did it come this way or did you remove it? I know there are different paint schemes. Mine is the same as yours but with an engine number.
Thanks for sharing.

| How you see it is how I got it. I never really noticed the lack of number up until now actually. That's a little strange for Tyco.

If I remember correctly, this was one of the sets I pieced together. The combine came from a local hobby shop, one of the coaches came from a forum member, the observation and second coach came from an ebay auction, the engine came from a different ebay auction...the fact that they're all in such similar condition was just sheer luck!

The SD24 UP I posted in LOTW this week does not have a number either... I think there are a few other Tyco's that way...

The RML SD24 doesn't have a number either, unless one is molded into the number board. IDK, I've never checked that.
