Guys,
I just can't help it......LOL I had another of the stations that you seen that I bricked, a AHM Rico.....WELL I bought the following one, in kit form, brand new.....

Well as you see, its NOTHING like the actual Rico station! I took it apart after making it factory to the instructions, and once it was done, I didn't like the looks!

SO, I saved the freight end of the station....BUT, I wanted it to be an extension to the actual other one I bricked.....This is what that looks like:

As you see, again, A LOT was changed, I added in different side doors, and added in truck loading dock doors on the end of the building! The door roll-up parts are scratchbuilt! The doors are castings that I had!

IF you look closely, it also has an interior! Which there will be better pictures of!

At first, I was going to merely make the freight house extension, and leave it, then, while in the process of bricking the frieght end, I got to thinking it make a GREAT place to add in a Maintenance of Way office! Thats what the end of the station is and will have a sign to depict this! This is what that looks like:

The above picture is of the front!

Then you have the side:

then the opposite side:

Now you see the chimney, this too, was scratchbuilt from existing parts ofthe brick sheet that I had left over from the other station! I have yet to make a roof for the MOW office end, BUT the interesting part of this end is, the lower floor, is got an interior! AND the second floor has an interior as well, ALL seen pretty well through the windows, I used! The lower floor is a basic "shop" floor, with storage and work benches and shelving. The upper floor is like a small waitingroom, and then a Drafting office with tables, and storage of blueprints, and even a restroom!

You'll notice some irregular sides... These will be covered as the roof will be removable for the adding of lights inside, and the trim is to cover this, and will match the same trim, on the other station I posted pictures of!

ENJOY!

~John

Many have tried to, and failed, ya just can't repair stupid...

Do NOT try to Idiot-Proof anything!!!! God, will simply create a better......IDIOT!
