I never would have though the picture i took and posted on here several years back of this severely damaged Auto train loco i got from a school employee lady whose husband died and she contacted me to sell his trains for her at the time would make its round on the web - I was on Facebook looking at a friends friend pictures when i scrolled down and this was posted on their wall. Have also seen it on some other web sites recently too. Someone took my picture and captioned it and posted on the web - not mad or anything like that - just wish i could some royalty on the shares of it

Hey, at least that poor Bachmann got SOME recognition! I saw one not quite that bad at the Timonium show a few weekends ago, and they still were asking about $30 for it. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah....right. I got an Athearn version, should run much better with my cars...speaking of, I just bought 5 domed Auto-train cars at a show today for $45 for all 5. I should have enough now to run my auto-train and look somewhat complete. Won't be a long one, but it will be usable.

here is that same loco semi repaired & a used chassis

Need to get the rear handrails for it & extra trucks for the coaches
