I got my Rivarossi USRA 0-6-0 in today. I notice like my Big Boy, there is no sign of tender pick-up. If so, where does the negative and positive wires go to? Does positive go to the tab that's on the gear box? And negative, where does it go?

The grounded side of the motor picks up power thru the mount via the rear axle cover screw. The other side of the motor is wired to the pickup tab. Be careful when soldering around the gearbox.

With only 4 wheel pickup, they can definitely benefit from tender pickups.

What nut will fit the screws from the 4-6-2 tender? The previous owner used 2-56 screws and kadee trucks. looks to be 2 or 2.5 MM screws.
