I bought a Rivarossi 0-6-0 today and what a great deal! It's missing 3 screws, the screw between the steam chest and the 2 around the ash pan area under the under frame that holds the boiler down. What size of screws are these or what's a good substitute as I have a hoard of screws and some 2-56 screws.

Like almost all of Rivarossi's machine screws, the one through the steamchest is 2.5 mm in diameter. The two under the firebox are just small self-tappers of the sort commonly found on Rivarossi and other plastic locos.

20 cm, or a little over 3/4". Stop making me take my locos apart!
True Value should have bins of small metric screws.
