And a variation I didn't have:
A Tyco Virginian quad hopper stamped with the lettering designed for the operating hopper.
Just a little further down the quad hopper slope . . .

With a crooked logo - way to go Bachmann!
I realize I need to dig out the 40ft Soo Line too . . .

Ben, both of those UPs look like Bachmann to me. It’s cool that they have different numbers though.

The triple dome obsession has gone off on its first tangent:
These look like the Tyco version except they have brakewheels and the kingpin holes are in a different location.

This one came about as a result of the 40ft high cube thing, which started with the Tyco Soo Line 40ft high cube, which I bought because I thought it was a nice addition to the Tyco 62ft Soo Line high cube I've had for 40+ years. This one completes the Tyco 62ft high cube collection:

Wheeeeeeee!!!!!

More Tyco 40ft Hi-Cubes:

I need to dig out the Soo and post a picture of it too.
Now I just need to find the ICG boxcar and the Tyco Hi-Cube collection is complete. And I’m also looking for standard underframes for the Chug Chugs.
Bachmann NYC:
You can tell from these photos the Bachmann has better detail relief. I have no idea how many Bachmann liveries there are so no clue how close to complete my collection is.

Yet another Tyco Virginian operating hopper. Next, I’m getting another hole in my head!
I found my second Armour/Kahn’s error car at the first train show I attended since Covid hit. This one is in very good shape, with all its corner steps, and I got it for two bucks.

All three happen to have different road numbers. This one appears to be older because it has a separate cast metal underframe:

. . . And here is one of the uncommon yellow Tyco Burlington Northern plug doors:
I found this one at a local antique mall. I now have two or three of these.

Thank You, Glenn... I have at least 10 of all the Tyco trailers and more of some. I was on the slippery slope badly with these a few years ago. I never even noticed that I had no Bubble Yum pics there! This pic was when I was chasing my 9th & 10th one!

When I first saw this thread, maybe ten years ago, already(?), I thought heh, heh, what a funny thread title. Then proceeded to collect every sort of Tyco billboard I could get my paws on, plus quite a few LL versions. The more stuff kept piling in, as people were eager to clear their garages.
Just finished auctioning off the excesses of my youth, on feeBay, one of them being a large box with maybe, I dunno, 70 freight cars, and pending is an equally large box of pieces of freight cars. In three successive waves, I managed to net about $750, after feeBay generously helped themselves to a portion of the gross.
What will I do with this windfall? Buy more model trains. I don't have a Tyco Australian piece yet, and I am eyeballing a nifty Lima Spanish State Railways, trying to shake the seller down from his asking price.
