I found this at the last show I went to. It is a life like GP something (38 I think). It is lettered for Department of Defense and has the number 1996. I was wondering if anyone knew what set it would have come with? I can't find any info on it anywhere! It has the all in one pancake drive. Also where does the rear coupler go? There is no pocket and I have the same rear truck from a parts unit and it doesn't have a pocket either! Any help is appreciated! /tyco/forum/uploaded/PRR_Tyco/8582134422_5a577cbed3.jpg /tyco/forum/uploaded/PRR_Tyco/8582134516_79cc687e8a.jpg

Chris, That happens to be a high nose Life-Like GP38-2.....The long hood radiators and the little hole in the long hood side doors near the rear of the locomotive give it away!
Nice find, to say the least!

Thanks! It needed some work (the rear truck was falling off because one of the tabs broke off) but for $5 I couldn't resist!
