I have enough of the B&M hoppers and was going to actually sell a few. I still am. But when I saw the last one I purchased I kept going back to it, wanting to buy it. Something wasn't right. I knew there were two variations and concentrating on the differences I finally figured it out.

I'll comment more on these but it's getting late. The one on the bottom is the one I've never seen before. There are two things that make this unique from either of the first two cars pictured.

Cool find.

And I love how you can;t just dismiss it as an odd shifting of the entire tampo... because not only is everything shifted by one panel, but there's some data missing too.

I really do wonder how this stuff happened. I mean, it was sorta inevitable given how many of these things were made over such a long time, but still... it's interesting nonetheless.

GiC,
If you are a fan of the movie "Top Gun" you'll recognize this; you are in a "target (Tyco) rich environment" I'm sure it's more than luck but you have some really interseting finds with ebay, swap meets, and the "haunt".
Looks like NYC has the same skill [}:)]
