Hi, I'm kinda new to the whole, collecting thing, and I just bought a tyco 0-8-0, the guy who sold it said it ran fine, it just needs some oil.

Brianstyco has some very good videos on this site for servicing locos. I have a whole fleet of the 2-8-0s and 0-8-0s and his videos helped me greatly.

Hi Blackstone!!
Welcome to the forum :) I'm new at the game as well, in fact I don't own a single piece of track. I initially showed up to sell some 70's and 80's stock that I found and now I've caught the train fever and asking questions to start my own layout-LOL.
The guys here are AWESOME and super helpful. I'm sure they will answer any questions you have and give you a ton of suggestions (if you want them, and sometimes if you don't) on everything you can think of. The collective wealth of information they have is crazy!!
