Since I officially opened my repair shop to the public, more to my good or close friends, I have been swarmed with emails and calls on their engines!! I have been contracted by 5 people now to do work on their engines! I had them sent in to my brothers place in Camarillo because I didn't want our home mail being overloaded! Anyways today all the engines arrived! Half of them I get to keep see instead of being paid for my services I've been able to work out deals to aquire more engines while repairing theirs! There were 10 complete engines sent to me and 5 are expected to return back to their owners once finished. The other 5 and multiple other frames and tenders and parts get to stay with me!! I have 2 other people I'm working with to start work on their engines but I'm too busy right now! So 3 peoples engines are here! 7 engines came from my friend Jesse in Iowa! 1 came from a close friend and member here, John Minor or JMColts95, his recent ebay find a Mantua B&O booster is here being rebuilt. Another close friend Freddie sent me his basket case Bachmann 4-4-0 american and in exchange for rebuilding it, he gave me a spectrum GN 44 tonner, tyco 2-8-0 frame and tender, bachmann 2-8-0 frame and tender! i finished the new tender for his 4-4-0 last month! I would list Jesses engines but I'll let the photos show because I'm tired of typing

the crown jewel of the locomotives Jesse sent me, A Rivarossi UP FEF 4-8-4 #836!! Needs rod screw work and a good wheel cleaning and oiling. I fell in love with this engine i may make an offer on it while its here!

another Jesse engine, old Bachmann Western Pacific GS4, obvious from photos needs heavy running gear rebuild!

yet another Jesse engine. OLD Mantua all metal 4-6-2! Rough shape to say the least. All he requested was a new trailing truck wheel. That will be done but I want to completely rebuild it!

Jesse engine: Bachmann 0-6-0 slopebaker. Installed a new cab roof! Needs running gear bracket work before it can be finished! He mentioned he may want me to have it.

Sorry bout the bad photo but this is Jesses Rivarossi Cab foward. Missing its pilot truck and tender it'll take a bit of work but it'll be worth it!

an engine from Jesse that i get to KEEP! He had no use for this custom painted Mantua C430! Its the MU motor version but needs new couplers i love the paint!!

Another engine Jesse is giving me along with the C430 above! A TYCO Chessie 630! Has insanely good paint and 70% of her handrails! Too bad she's missing one whole side walkway of them though regardless I'm rebuilding her! needs PT work "Fun!"

now onto to Freddies locos! This is his basket case 4-4-0! I rebuilt a tender drive tender i had lying around already so it will leave the shop sometime next year all black with silver boiler jacket!

here's Freddies (now mine) Spectrum Great Northern 44 tonner! given as payment for 4-4-0 rebuild! Works fabulously!

heres all the parts Freddie sent me too! Nice for other rebuild projects!

a donated engine from a now close friend Jim! He buys and sells HO trains as a business. This engine came in and he had no use for it being it needed work so he decided to donate it to my SCVR! Needs a tender wheel axle and basic mechanical work but a hard to find engine for free! I'll take that all day long! It's a model power 0-4-0 Fat Boy

here's another donated engine from a member here! Raysoutherpacific! Very nice of him to donate this heavy old pacific! Mantua 4-6-2! Union Pacific. Problem is, it has no cowcatcher....I'm planning what i want to do with it because I won't run it looking like it does...

last engine im working on for now that is, a very close friend and member here, john Minor (Jmcolts95) sent me his newest ebay find! A rough Mantua 0-4-0 B&O booster! He knows I specialize in Mantua restoration and repair so I'm doing this rebuild for him free of charge because were such good friends! It's all there! just needs heavy cleaning, paiint, and motor work

I will be busy for months! But i'm doing something I really enjoy! I'm always happy to repair or rebuild peoples engines!

here's the rebuilt tender to the 4-4-0! been sitting comfortably in my shop!

I buy, repair, and collect
