No road name...it just has "183 Safety First" and "Spirit Of '76" on it, it's a Bachmann car. It came without a provision for a smokejack as well.

...and yes...it's that Minuteman car...

I see a Presidential Seal on that C430. You know, the banned (Collector's) version.
It all looks to be in excellent condition.

TYCO used the seal of the President without permission. The government made them remove it, but only after they sold some.

Wow... a nice gift indeed! The bay window caboose might be made by Lima? Not sure if AHM imported those, but I've seen that one before.

That's the odd part...the box it came in is a Bachmann...marked for an Sof76 bay window 'boose. You're right in that it is Lima made and I believed right away that it was AHM--however---AHM would not have missed the smokejack, no hole, no nothing for one...

GG1 has you covered, it was an unauthorized use of the Presidential seal on a product that they had to pull. There are a few out there but, TYCO being TYCO, the decals were of poor quality, making good condition ones especially hard to find. Mine is considered to be in very good shape, even though it is scratched a bit. Most I've seen are truly tear jerkers, with just a hint of what used to be...
