While organizing my dining room and trying to empty it of trains today ( wife is on me again ), I ran across my piggybacks, and so will post those today. Opening one box lot of HO stuff I'd bought through Craigslist, I came across this piggy car, forgotten I'd had a Sealand ( one day I'm gonna get my stuff documented in a spreadsheet! ). Anyway, probably my only Sealand Piggyback, but who knows.

Now that you've seen this, go check out my other post in AOTW....

I've got 4 or 5 of these cars.... they make GREAT "MOW" cars, needless to say, the ones I repainted, had very bad painting and I sure could not use them as-is with the sets I have so......And I'm making interiors for mine as well!

Hope the price was reasonable!

10 bucks, John. Okay by me, especially since Athearn stopped making them. Besides, there was no train show close by this weekend, and i needed a "fix"! The lady running the store said the trains were her husband's thing, and she lost him a little while ago, so when the trains were gone, there wouldn't be anymore.

I hate hearing that with the wife selling off the husbands stuff, and then to boot, they would be gone...
Not a bad price tho! I have a local place I hit every now an again....its a Antique store, that has a section (half the store) devoted to trains of all scales and sizes!

John, I think maybe I was too vague there. The trains are actually store inventory, not her husband's personal collection. But he was the one who wanted to sell trains in the store, she isn't going to order anymore inventory, so once it's gone, it's gone. I apologize for any confusion.
Now concerning that antique store; I'm extremely jealous! On occasion I go with my wife, and her mother and sister, to antique stores, and to make it more bearable I look for trains. I seldom find any, let alone half the store! I guess some of us are luckier than others!

Glenn, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding! Well thats nice to know that she is selling off the "inventory" her husband had gotten to sell!
As for my local Antique store, I get cars for around $4.00 to $5.00 each....Locomotives from $10.00 and up!
So its not a bad deal there at any given time!

I just had to buy that one.....THEN, I seen this:

I just had to by this one too, because of this:

Total paid? $3.25! I thought the Kadee trucks on the 4 truck flat car was worth what I paid......Local "Thrift Store"

Well I got another rather interesting model to post here, that came to me on Thursday evening....\

Aristo-Craft (Pocher) Rotary Snow Plow.....I plan to add that little tender made for oil to it as a steam driven model.....It looks to have been made as a dieselized version.....I just can't handle it diesel powered!
Will be going in one of my MOW trains......

I have a couple like that John! The nicest one I purchased was listed as a BIN for $25 in the weee hours of the morning. It was super detailed, weathered and had a tender. Honestly, I can not remember if it was metal & wood or if it was plastic. Either way it looked awesome and was a super sweet buy. I have several variations including one exactly like yours... All of which are currently packed away in storage with no photos.

Sean, Yeah? I loved the looks of the little guy compared to the HUGE Athearn version I also have.....(I actually have 3 or 4 of the Athearn version), that needs built, and I have 2 of them, built already...
I thought this one was AWESOME for its size and different, I'll be adding a motor for the blades as you can see, the trucks, are NOT factory as the drive unit it had was missing the 2 gears so.....And the rubber band it had was shot and one of the pulleys was missing (the largest one) so.....The trucks you see, are pewter castings, I made some time ago, (I got out of that type of cast work some time ago)
I'll be running a wire between the snow blower and the tender for power pick up and I'll be adding working lights to the unit as well!
But you mentioned different version, you have pictures of them?
