OK, I just got a lot of junk today and got a Turbo Train engine. It has flanged wheels, but, are plastic! The chassis is similar to a slot car, just no pin or magnets. How is electric current carried to the motor?

it should have metal clips like the Tyco race cars Which they tend to get grooves & wear out on railroad rails quicker than on a flat race track
I'd show you but atm my TTs are in a box but idk which one

Microbuss got it, there are two flat slot car contacts on the bottom of the Turbo Train engine. Since they're a bit different than slot car contacts, not sure how easy they'll be to replace or find. I've seen some parts on Ebay for them, but rarely.

ACTUALLY, THE OTHER POSTERS ARE RIGHT, THIS CHASSIS USES PICK-UP SHOES LIKE THE SLOT CARS, SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND THEM ON EBAY OR THE OLDER HOBBY SHOPS, THE TURBO TRAIN IS REALLY JUST A MODIFIED TYCO 440-X2 CHASSIS, IF THE COIL SPRINGS ARE STILL THERE THEY WILL GO ON, IF YOU GET IT READY THEY REALLY DO GO SUPER FAST!
