A classic piece of motive power but a good runner. The DB was an add-on.

It is a Mantua 0-4-0 Switcher I just spent the morning restoring. I have included the before and after photos. I completely replaced the tender shell.

Sean I saw that on ebay a few days ago!! My LOTW is keepin the GP20 theme, my 1962 EX Rio Grande Mantua GP20, purchased new buy last owner as a kit in 62, sold it on ebay to me in 2007. Painted over the rio grande lettering, the sides will get a new coat of paint BUT I will still keep the Tiger Stripes.

Yay, I finally scored a Brit Shunter! These little guys seem to bring top money regardless of condition, so when I spotted what looked like one in a grainy Ebay photo of a lot, not described well, I kept my fingers crossed and bid week before. Got the entire lot for $26, plus shipping, has both Euro engines and cars and American engines and cars. I LOVE lot buying ! Smorgasborg of stuff for really decent prices sometimes. I'll be posting the rest later, probably in another post.

I just rebuilt this locomotive that I've had for 30+ years. It still needs breaking in though. And I wanna kick myself because in the process of reassembling it I broke the horn!

Does anybody have a styrofoam SD24 box insert?

A Rio Grande: 2nd run production Athearn Hustler...

John
now, about those rubber bands...
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?
