Well guys,
This display case isn't completed YET, BUT, I could NOT resist having not to much else to do on an evening before back to work, Monday morning.....
So, without further waiting (I know I couldn't.....) I had to "see" just what this case, would look like with the 2 locomotives in it in place that it was built for!

Enjoy!

Nice work, love how you did that. I may have to attempt something similar someday.

Guys, Theres one point that I have not mentioned in either part one or part two of this......
EVERYTHING you see is scratchbuilt to fit into place of the given space of the display case!
AND the top EM-1, is a re-built Akane Brass EM-1, that I had added ALL new details to as the originals were VERY crude! Then, custom painted it and re-motored the unit to have a full interior with an Irigashi can motor!
Hopefully, someday, it will have a matching dual mode DCC/DC and sound installed to run with my Spectrum unit thats on the bottom track!

Well I know the brass one is strong enough, and the Spectrum is damn close LOL The brass one, needed to have a "STRONG" bridge to hold it........It weighs in at 7 pounds 4 ounces! Including the tender....
Pulls well....the spectrum on the other hand being DCC is strong too, its pulling 5.4 pounds on my pull gauge from Micro-Mark.....
