That's a rivet. If it just pulled out of the links because it wasn't flared enough you can flare it on the back of the linkage with a punch or an awl, or any tool with a point (you'll have to take the valve gear off to work with it). If the flared portion broke off, then it's probably not long enough anymore and you need a new one.
