Hello Guys--This is one of my favorite passenger cars, but I have no clue who made it or how to find any others--it has no labels or wording anywhere. It is a "shorty", has metal wheels and plastic axles, interior, working diaphragms and body-mounted couplers--very nice quality. It is not from the Penn-line/Life-Like molds...in fact, it's about a scale foot or two longer than those. Thanks, and if anyone knows of any for sale, let me know--

looks like my roundhouse UP coach. Same trucks and wheels. My best guess is roundhouse. In fact they still make these brand new.

Thanks, I'll have to look around at what Roundhouse has. The only passenger cars of theirs I am familiar with are their oldies and Harrimans..... (in fact, with a quick look, I'm not seeing any of these in the Roundhouse line--their closest car is the arch-roof Harriman)

Looks a lot like a revamped Varney, AHM/Penn Line/Life-Like Scene Master coach...

I thought so too, but it's actually a bit longer, a bit different, and of course a lot more detailed. I'm fairly certain it's not that. I've just noticed that Con-Cor has a line of 65 foot heavyweights. Maybe this could be an earlier version of that--the new ones are more detailed and also lighted.

I'm wondering if this is a Walthers Trainline coach. Here is the link:

I was going to say that it wasn't a MDC Roundhouse as it has to refined detail on the underside and it looks to be a 60 foot car, and to that, its a Celestory roof car, MDC's were Harriman style.

So it as shown would have to be either Walthers, or Rivarossi as those are the only 60 foot cars I know of thats being made to even think of such, with the level of detail on the car.....

Yes! Walthers Trainline seems to be the make--Thanks all for the help--these are very nice cars. While looking for these, I ran across Con-Cor's shorty heavyweights--they are magnificent also, with the addition of lighting to boot. Most of their cars are in the 50-60 dollar range, but I just found a 5 car set for $125, so I purchased it. I'll post pics when it arrives.
