I have been going to Pasadena City College's flea market for about 28 years now searching for antiques and of course model railroad stuff. Today, I scored. Here is what 50 bucks got me:

.....and a whole bunch of balsa wood, plus some other little surprises including this:

All in all, I got 22 box cars, a bunch of track and a bunch of other little accessories. Happy camper here.
If you are not having fun, you are not doing it right.

** I strolled around the Giant Stadium, Meadowlands flea market. Almost no trains. I found 5 catalogs. 1973/74 Kibri, 1974 Vollmer, 1975 JMC international, Mantua 1981, and Mantua 1987. I get to add them to 2 other recient catalog finds, A gilbert 1955, and the Hornby/Dublo I dont know the date for. * The only other thing I got was the Hess 2012 small truck. A tractor trailer with a Biplane on flatbed back. * It was a nice walk. toptrain
