While relaxing and looking through some Tyco paperwork I found this Tyco Marketing packet from a Tyco dealers conf. that I had won several years ago. It looks as if this packet was issued in '75. Here are some examples of what the packet contained. The line art advertisements have zeros so that the dealer can plug in their own prices. There are some scans of these in another post but I couldn't find it. BTW: The TycoComm font is glued on both examples I have.

Well that's an interesting find! "Tycocomm" sounds like a defunct modem company, LOL.
At lot of those line art drawings are one's I've never seen before. I wonder if all the freight car schemes had them done over the years. I imagine they must have been converted from photos somehow.
The introductory photo spread looks to the the same one from the 1974 (IIRC) catalog.
Thanks for sharing!

I found some other posts on this dealers packet. Sorry if it's somewhat repititious.

I have that cannon. Only one I've ever seen, mint in the bag.
I may have the stone bridge, too, I know I've seen it anyways and never knew who made it until now.

Have you given a thought to peeling one off to see what it originally said underneath? Seems odd they would have changed or added the name afterward and glued a replacement. So much for marketing and polish - that's like egg-on-the-face when you're literally trying to sell your products.

Tony, if the revised type or font wasn't printed up by the time of the conference, salesmen would have no choice but to use it. It wasn't unusual for our salesmen to show comped up boxes and toys.

Wow! I never knew there was a "real" undec C430 sold. Has anyone ever seen one? I mean yeah, just black plastic, but I'd imagine after all these years, finding one that's never been painted would be pretty rare.
