 replacement motor for Tyco #927 intermodal dock

got a question, the lift motor is worn out on my #927 piggyback dock (the forklift portion) as it has almost no "oomph" to lift any trailer can anyone reccomend a good replacement motor for this little creature?

it almost looks like an N-scale motor as it is squarish, but can't find any reference, any feedback helps!

just me Ray... and just because I have Tyco doesn't mean I am not a model railroader

Its a Mubachi motor. They were used in the Tyco HO slot cars. Ya can find a Tyco car cheap or a motor cheaper!

The controller ya mean Ben? I would use DPDT swicthes.

FYI, it would be best if they are momentary contact DPDT, you could fry the motors or something nasty like that

Very true. They operate better on Dc than AC. The AC seems to give off interment stutters and operation.

Radio Shack had small motors on stock that would probably fit this application. I was looking at them years ago to use in PT applications.
