got a question, the lift motor is worn out on my #927 piggyback dock (the forklift portion) as it has almost no "oomph" to lift any trailer can anyone reccomend a good replacement motor for this little creature?
it almost looks like an N-scale motor as it is squarish, but can't find any reference, any feedback helps! just me Ray... and just because I have Tyco doesn't mean I am not a model railroader

Its a Mubachi motor. They were used in the Tyco HO slot cars. Ya can find a Tyco car cheap or a motor cheaper! " Heck with counting 'em rivets, TRAINS ARE FOR FUN! Not called the Mad Scientist for nothing either!"

FYI, it would be best if they are momentary contact DPDT, you could fry the motors or something nasty like that just me Ray... and just because I have Tyco doesn't mean I am not a model railroader

Very true. They operate better on Dc than AC. The AC seems to give off interment stutters and operation. " Heck with counting 'em rivets, TRAINS ARE FOR FUN! Not called the Mad Scientist for nothing either!"
