thank you! My favorite place on any layout or railroad is the engine facility. And my layout is a 4x8 very small for the size of my collection. My layout is done but i dont show to many pictures of it. I'll gladly show pictures of it.

Hi SCVR66,

Nice bunch of engines you got there! Looks like a lot of Athearn.
Please, by all means, show us more of your layout.

good one, both are in need of either a new motor or heavy wiring work, the spectrum 0-6-0T will be worked on later this year, but the 4-8-2 is in worse shape and i wont work on it until next year, the 4-8-2 rarely ever gets moved, the motor is removed so it is a dummy for now as is the 0-6-0T i move the 0-6-0T alot but the 4-8-2 never gets moved.

SCVR66,

That shelf you got looks pretty strong but I guess since it is holding trains that is necessary.

If my 4-8-2 was runnable I would show more pictures, but since it's not and wont be for at least a year I don't take to many pictures cause it sits in one spot all the time. My shelves are very strong, my dad and I built them back in 04. My favorite engines are stored on my layout. Well my steamers anyways

here's my bachmann cable cars power truck in my shop for work, even with detailed lubrication and run time it still doesnt run well at slow speeds, i intend to fix that, but i've got other stuff to work on.
my bachmann 4-8-4 outside my shop, i believe she has a cracked drive gear which has caused some damage to the 3rd wheel axle, i will give a full inspection after i remove a pesky screw that wont budge i hope the damage aint to bad of this ol gal she was running fine only a month ago

by popular demand i rolled out my southern 4-8-2 for some photos, it was the first time in over a year since she had her tender connected.
here's another view of her, i had my SP sw1200 haul her around, im glad her "sister" 4-8-2 UP #7009 will be running by april, i sent her away to bachmann to get a new tender pcb installed, i was gonna do it myself but my project list kept getting longer, my sou 4-4-0 and my UP 4-8-2 will be running by early april
