i enjoy taking photos of my engines running, especially some of my favorites.
my newest addition to the family is my SP mantua 0-4-0 booster seen here running a short freight
my life-like 0-4-0 running an old time passenger consist. Despite what everyone says i like this little guy shes smooth and purrs down the track i dont get the chuck chuck sound that the drivers make alot sometimes but not a lot. More to come my rivarossi 0-6-0T pulling 4 roundhouse daylight coaches. I love using the 0-6-0T i never have any issue with her at all

I have a 70's era Life-Like tank engine. Runs fine. Great models and great photos!

Hi Justin, Cheese. and 66. How is everyone today * The tanker switchers are the main stay of many small railroads. Easy to store. They take up little space. Easy to repair and run. Use little fuel. They double head better than larger engines due to improved communication between the crews. Especially when running cab to cab. The most important thing is they can run in areas of thigh radius track. * As to the " chunk, chunk, chunk " something is wrong. Some manufactures design looseness in their drives. This allows for the quartering to be slightly off and still run. This is so they can be assembled by persons with little training and no special tools. Also they are toys and not meant to last. It increases the wear on the side rod mounting holes and elongates them making it even louder, till the looses axel to wheel connection gives and moves. This locks the drive. This engine won't run till it is re-quartered. Not a good thing. So the chunk noise is telling you something. You never hear locomotives made by better manufactures going " chunk, chunk, chunk ". They have to add sound so you can hear something. * Nice talking to you-all.
