My diecast Mantua 0-4-0T engine. I noticed the lack of a brass bell and a diecast one is present/molded in!

Switching to Diesel power, my LOTW is a CN Mantua, I think? an F-9. one of my few Canadian engines I own, ran across this one in a PA antique shop last year. I love the colors.

Recently acquired from north of the border, this Lindberg SW7 rests near the STC offices. The frame may be slightly warped, but the body is solid and the well-worn and weathered coat belies the anonymous workaday ethic of a true soldier with a heart (that is, motor) that won't quit while it sings a gruff yet soothing song. Can't decide if I'mma leave her like this or treat to a repaint. Moxie is hard to replace.

That was my first loco SCVR66. Not a bad engine actually. Got it in a trainset for Christmas back '98. Out lasted my Life Like GP38-2's!

Hey AF:
Whats the going rate these days for a set of GP20 or 430 handrails still sealed in the plastic bag?

Romcat, I'm guessing somewhere around $10 or more shipped. I paid $10 for these rails and got a loco too at a show.

hi ben this is way i check what e number goes with each,e6a shovel nose 3 single squarish windows,e7a bulldog nose 5 squarish windows,e8a bulldog nose 4 round windows,e9a bulldog nose with same windows as 8 only exterior difference was headlight flush fitted, but since some e8s were retro fitted with these lenses the only reliable way to check was by its power pack ie motor, ken

ah I see Good info ken Thanks Serious jealousy for the locos, Mike & DaCheez They just as nice as my CofSF UP loco Which btw came in the box Still it was crazy of Tyco to come out with those locos Especially since at the time they were only making Amtrak passenger cars Red Box had NH & UP passenger cars & would work with the E-7s Also there was Burlington & that'd work with the BN unit hehe Now you know why I want to find them cars

Hi All,
Some really nice engines this week. I like the E units alot. My Wife and I picked this up this past weekend at a Flea Market. From a seller set up outside the building of all things. Kinda tells how warm the weather is here this winter. I have not run it yet, It needs a new pair of shoes (traction tires) first and a lube oil and filter. I am a huge F unit fan, so this fits right in and I did not have this livery. I will post the set in the Garage sale report forum.
Thanks for looking.

Last in the batch of oddballs my brother brought me back from his honeymoon. AHM trolly. Has the exact same drive as my custom B&O switcher so it moves along pretty good!
