Get a shot of the bottom. Sometimes, the bottom tells the story. John
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

Ken, my guess would be Roundhouse. Their older kits were all diecast and they had a similar boxcar. Don't know for 100%, but I'd start there. If there are plastic brake parts on the diecast underframe, I'd be more confident yet.
Here's my CotW - a genuine shock of "finding gold" at the Louisville GTE. Been after this one for long time.... and found it perfect in a box made yesterday, along with complete Reading derrick (my previous one was missing a boom section) in its own perfect box, lurking in a table stack of other assorted redbox cars for $12 each. Thing is, I "knew" it was there as soon as I saw the pile from across the aisle. Normally you jinx yourself with such hopeful thoughts, but not this time...

A CNW Hopper. I think it is an AMH since I have two that are marked and identical (except for road names)l. but I cannot find any markings on this one.

My COTW is a recently ( this week ) acquired DTSL double-door box car, maybe for automobiles? Or parts. Anyway, nice looking unit, has nice molded wood-type floor inside, too.
