Figured since I just repaired this Roco unit, I will post it as my LOTW. A BR 49 Glass domed tourist tram, this German-based engine was created around 1937, and 1 survived the war there. Pretty neat unit. Since I put a new traction tire on it ( actually replaced the original, didnt' match the new ones ), it runs fine on the track with no tie-bumping. Can't wait to try it at shows and my club's layout now.
Hopefully this pantograph-equipped unit will provide me with many wonderful moments in the future.

My Loco this week is a Pennsy F9 by model power. Bought new in the early 80's and is a strong runner.

This is my LOTW:
I already showed it to Ken earlier before i purchased it. It was listed on eBay this morning as "ENGINE ???" as the title and that was it. Apparently someone else knew what it was bc I still paid $114 for it, but that was still cheap for a Westside Models #966 0-6-0t shop locomotive. Dick Trusdale imported these in 1969. They are Japanese made (Nishikawa) with an open frame motor. They currently sell for ~$250 - $300. Adding this one to the restoration line maybe...
Blown up version of the poor listing photo:

The real life engine:
Man am I siked! Been watching that engine for 6 days and 23 hours. Tried to buy it that first hour of the listing opening, but the seller chickened out. Did not think I was actually going to pay what I offered I suppose. Turned out to be his loss now since I got it for less than what I offered.

The economy has really hit everything hard. They currently sell for ~$250 - $300 but they were getting up to $500 ~two years ago. That is about where your £275 is in US $ I think. I feel pretty lucky to actually get one, as I have wanted one ever since seeing my fist one a few years ago.
Now I am after that other pretty rare WSM imported engine I showed you earlier, also ending later today. Possibly next weeks LOTW.

PUNY ENGINES! Sorry just wanted to always say that ;) Got this a few months back after hunting one for awhile. Closed up the nose doors (which is dumb since B&O rarely did it, but I like the look) and dusted the trucks up a little so they at least didn't look glossy. Proto 2000 E8.
This is the last of my "New" stuff to show off. I have a few old ones models I got over the past few months that are odd at best lol. Next week...

The locos were used around the shops for moving locos...the tanks are for fuel and water, by placing them like that, the little boogers were traction brutes.
