Wanting a yellow Kenworth Cab for quite a while now. I win Ebay auction #130606110043 a short time ago. I receive a Tyco Union Pacific in its box instead. No problem, I contact the seller that tells me opps and they will send me my truck. Today in the mail I receive the new truck that is a cattle truck but it has the old common yellow Dodge cab...
So, it appears that I am still, wanting a yellow Tyco Kenworth...

Not the same truck at all Ben, based on the picture. Mine is still shrink wrapped, or I'd open it, to confirm it's the one Walt wants....

Hey Gareth, The Horse set comes with a yellow trailer opposed to the orange trailer in the cattle set.
I have seen numerous truck cabs in the sets including both Dodge 600s and the KWs... I've seen many combinations Gareth and it seems like the only way to know is when the box is opened.. But don't open yours....

Actually, the truck is on the box. Not sure if its the color. Tyco changed out there stock car and truck at some point and time. If the car is blue and yellow, its got thr KW, orange and yellow, it'll have the Dodge.

Sorry for ya. Ive been ripped off a few times at shows. The Groucho says it runs, and when you take it home. The light`s burnt and the engine wont run. I got a BevBel Southern GP38 MIB, and it didn`t Run! Luckily I took it to the Test Track. I traded 6 times, not a single worked!

Walt,
I had in mind a swap actually....
CVT,
Unless you think everyone should call everyone your age, "little pukes" or "Tweener", you might want to stand down on the "Groucho" comments, unless of course we're talking Marx brothers? It's a little easier to be grouchy as you get older on account of there's been more time for some painful stuff to have come into your life. It's true too many as they age embrace that. All I'm saying some may have good reason.

The guy said "get your hands off my stuff!" My dad was supervising me. There. I back it up with the facts Oh. And I Only buy Engines from 3 People because The have sold me some great engines. If I pay $50 for an engine thats junk and the guy says it runs, I dont like that. Once, I got an engine and The guy said it was dead. But it was a BL2, How could I resist! I took it home, popped off the shell, and lo and behold, there was a DCC Decoder!(I run DC, so it was useless. But a Nice shelf Piece!) Life Like N Scale.

I'm not quite certain why people bash the Postal Service so much. I have done hundreds of transactions with the USPS and they mishandled 1.... It arrive a month later.
My last piggyback which was mailed in Washington State on Monday arrived in my Wednesdays Ohio mailbox before noon... This has been a comon practice for me with First Class Mail & Priority Hundreds of packages arriving in just days.... There's no snails carring my packages...
The date the USPS receives your package is stamped on the box or letter.. Compare it sometime to the date you receive it. I've heard a lot of people blaming the USPS because the company (or person) they buy from doesn't ship it for two weeks...automatically blaming the USPS for slow delivery.. Let's blame the cause, not the symptoms.

I received my first yellow Kenworth today and it is a little better than the one I never got recently! (sarcasm) Though this one has seen better day, with one side headlights missing and the trailer hitch (fifthwheel) also gone.
My first thoughts was to change out the chassis with one of my red ones, but on closer ecamination, the body has been glued to the chassis...
I can't win

To be fair, the USPS does a pretty good job(usually). However....I live in the Washington, DC metro area, and some years ago, a news org did an impromptu "study" looking for any "bad" postal delivery in the area. They mailed 1st class letters from certain areas 2 or 3 times a week for a month around the Beltway here. I mean from northern Virginia to Maryland to DC suburbs. What they found was that in some areas, letters would consistently go thru in 1-2 days. In other areas, it could take up to 4-5 days, and in some cases, some areas would take 7 days. I never heard what the causes were, but these were normal suburban Post Offices, not major USPS hubs with jillions of letters a day. And since they were all going around the same local areas (coming or going), it wasn't like they had to go far. It seems some Post Offices do a better job than others, and consistently so. Again, I never heard more on that, but it was an interesting thing to find out that while the USPS is usually good, there are stations that are not as productive compared to others in nearby areas. It's not always the USPS, but sometimes it can be. I've seen UPS handle our commercial packages, our driver throws them around hard sometimes. I never see the USPS people do that. Then again, they're not driven hard and left wet like UPS management treats their drivers/staff. I did work for UPS at a hub in '78 for 2 weeks, toughest two weeks of work in my life - turnover was 90% PER NIGHT. They get delivered fast, but there's a cost involved. Pack your items WELL if you are shipping UPS. They are hard on the packages. And double the price of USPS. I use USPS 99% of the time.

Today I received a very nice yellow Kenworth truck that is complete. It took 3 buys to get a good one... Of course the first one, I didn't get at all...
Thank You, rgcw5 for pointing this auction out!

How hard would it be to put a decal on the trucks? If I had some decals I'd use N scale ones to decal the trucks Whatever trucks I has I'd have someone decal them for me Red - Santa Fe CN PRR Yellow - Union Pacific Green- BN or PC
