Good Week to you guys:
Tiger Valley this week. Wonderful guy Guilford the fella who manufactured these. Awesome home and layout,

Guilford has it back now to have the long & short hoods swapped out so it can be made into a Phase III CP unit. Originally painted in CP but not a CP unit type

For my LOTW I present the "Tyco Zephyr" - a kitbash of an E7 and a combine. It is loosely based on the Burlington's Silver Charger which ran in the General Pershing Zephyr.
The model just came out of the paint shop yesterday.

Later on this week I will do a writeup of the kitbash (with construction pics) in the Customizing/Kitbashing forum.

Hi All,
Redwoods, That is awesome! can't wait to see your construction pictures.
Catfordken, Those are beautiful FT's, nice clear pictures too.
Burlington77, I like that BL2. Did the RR actually use those colors?
Romcat, That CP engine is sweet, looks like she has earned her keep.
Here is my loco. for the week. A ROCO CP FA-2. The other horn is in the box.
Thanks for sharing.

I don't know. I really don't know anything about that RR. A quick google search brings up a couple similar color schemes, with a darker color in place of the blue. Looks like they had several styles.

Here is my LOTW:
It is another Varney Lil Joe Dockside:

Sorry, but I restored another one this week and it is the only thing I currently have on my bench worth showing. This is what it looked like when I started earlier this weekend. It took about 3 houes to date. This morning before work, I added a Lindsay swinging bell and the grab iron stantions this morning before work. Just a couple left to add and a ladder in the back:

I might add porthole type windows toward the front of the cab for added realism, but we'll see. I did get this Varney Yellowstone shell last week, but since it has nothing else to show, I can hardy justify calling it a LOTW. It is the one on the top. I have two others to, but none are built yet:

I found this at a major train show 2 years ago. An old all-metal Mantua that dates from the early 1960s, I believe. I want to clean it and letter it, but don't want to redo it so that it loses it's antique flavor.

Sean;
Do you know what a doily is?
As in it's like an ornamental Teapot suitable for display on a doily!
It's lovely work.

My Loco of the week is a Holidazed Hustler, I took the Fe out of Santa, and "spruced" it up a bit. Thought about using paint, but since I've never painted well, I just spent $1 at A.C. Moore craft store, and bought some Xmas stickers. Works as well. Just thought I'd pass on some holiday cheer.

Here is mine for this week. Its a pair of GP-38s by Life-Like I know its not tyco but these are somewhat rare as they were only made for the employees of the Armstrong World Industries Lancaster Floor plant in Lancaster Pa. Made in 1989. Given to me as a christmas gift by my father who worked at Armstromg. They do sometimes pop up on ebay once in a while.I have two complete sets, one to run,the other stays packed away.

Gareth, The tender and engine are a Liliput. The boiler is new and everything is restored. I have to do a bit more to finish it.I am putting in a smoker and all led lights. Trying to make it as close to the real engine as I can. Did research for hours and with a LOT of help from Erich I got it this far. Ken

Had to post this--just arrived today. In my quest to get a Hudson, I saw this online for $45, boxed, so I grabbed it. Not really a NYC Hudson of course, rather, Mantua's interpretation. But I love it--runs great, and an extra bonus, it has Mantua's synchronized sound unit in the tender. Just need to pick up a 9v battery.

Love the detail Mustangs_n_Trains has applied to that dockside 0-4-0. Reminds me it's been a while since I posted a tank locomotive so here's my best:
The Little Six! Pennsylvania 0-6-0 steamer in Mantua metalness. More powerful than it looks and still running like clockwork after very heavy use, this is my all time favourite steam switcher. Makes for a neat little MOW loco to.
