The looks on those kids faces makes it all worth it, don't it?

You've really done a great thing here. This is the greatest achievement I've ever seen anyone display on this site. We all want, or at least I hope we want, the next generation to get into trains...but you're actually doing it. Not to mention the basic "spreading holiday cheer" that you're doing as well. They'll remember this their whole lives, talk about it, and want to come back each year. We all have fond memories from our youth, but you're giving one to these kids.

b77 - Thank you for your comment - appreciate it. This train really drew the crowd to the clubs layout. The days i wasn't there - many were asking where the train was

Bright lights and colors sure beat detailed & grimy in the eyes of these young 'uns. The boy at the beginning nearly jumped out of his skin. You've created a real scene stealer.

Hi Brianstyco,
Awesome video. The train looks great! Those kids are having a blast. It would be fun to see your trains in person.
Thanks for sharing.

Brian, Those kids are excited. Made me laugh here too. The train looks great and runs well. Wouldn't it neat if those kids asked for a train for Christmas or if some of the moms bought them because of their kid's excitement? :) Wish this was my idea. :)

AlcoFan - a few of the kids wanted one for Christmas as many of the adults did. The lights on the cars took it to another level. For me - to see their re-actions - brought the 'Magic' of Christmas out in them which i think is pretty hard to do with trains today with all the video games and other things. If a manufacturer were to take interest in producing sets like this for Christmas time only -I would talk to them

Thanks NP - Yes that little boy had everyone's attention when he did that - I have never seen a regular model or real train get that kind of re-action

Hey, Brianstyco, did you use an actual Tyco engine/cars, or are they more upscale? Just curious, didn't remember if you posted what you actually made the train out of. No matter, it's a wonderful creation that obviously has captured the essence of the Holiday - bright lights and cheer, but not over-hyped. Thanks for sharing that, makes me want to create one as well. Maybe next year....
