I haven't checked this lately. Recently finished my custom PRR GP20 so put I together a lash-up of Tycos in PRR. Mike's Canadiana Shark, above, reminds me to do a PPR "black" Shark.

Thanks for your contributions Mike, Redwoods, Busss and Shaygetz. All nice items.
Thomas the cars remind me of the 60's. My neighbor had a white '60 Ford and an upperclassman
,in the 70's, drove something like the Desoto until he got a monster motor stuffed in his '56 Ford.

Well guys i did it!! If you go back 2 pages to early 2012 you can see my picture of 2 of my dads old Tyco spirit of 76 alcos. Well the Mantua MU motor version was the project and last year I got the motor working good and the locomotive running for the first time in over 30 years!! Once it ran good the project was shelved being it wasn't important but today after a year of waiting I finally finished the project! Adding 2 new couplers and the fuel tank covers and shes now done! Very happy!

While I do think the genset is a good idea, I think its a waste of SD-40T-2s. I once heard(and read an article) about a Southern Pacific Tunnel motor B-UNIT(it had a cab but there were stickers saying "B-unit, Do Not Occupy", on the cab doors) acting as a replacement engine on an Amtrak train. so, we should get amtrak to buy some of these engines, more reliable than their current locomotives :3

My lash-up (if I'm interpreting that term correctly) is a rerun, though it makes me nostalgic for the little layout in the video. The brass trucks on that second 4-6-0 aren't period correct, but they sure made it run better. They've been replaced with originals now.

Here are a pair of Tyco F-units that I picked up at a local thrift store. The B unit is one of those dual power models with a pair of MU-2s. It is a strong puller as long as the dual motors are in sync.

Yeah, I'm also a sucker for the Warbonnet. That one in the background is an Athearn which is almost a necessity to keep this lashup rolling when one of the Tyco units stalls out.

you guys know what the worst is on those? I bet I got enough of that dang shells to make a lash-up, in HO scale, that you'd never see the last unit of it, no matter what it was "displayed"......
Sadly, with the work I used to do in the shop, I couldn't give them away fast enough there seem to have been so many of them on the market that..... I wound up re-painting LOTS of them, now, I've got B&O's, and Western Marylands, done, and some planned, to have a "ABA" at least of every paintjob each railroad had!

Many have tried to, and failed, ya just can't repair stupid...
