Hello,

I am dirtboy45,

I am new to the model rail road scene and I already have a problem. I have acquired three Chessie Alco C630 (Super 630) and they all need repairs of which I am capable of, but, I need to know where to get spare motor parts especially the motor plate cover. Does anyone know where I can get these or any other parts for them? Any help will be greatly appreciated and respected. Thanks for having me on here.

You need to talk to Jerry the resident PT Motor Pimp!

He goes by AMCGT-I'm in a cult about weird cars from the 70's! Just say you have a problem with a Gremlin and he magically appears!

But only I have AMC Gremlins. so far. LOL. If you need PT parts, I can help. I bought several lots this past year, so I have plenty. For about 3 dollars apiece I can sell you a whole spare motor.

How do we go about the transaction? I am ready to get those things working! lol! I have a local Santa that loves these things and I would like to get one working to give back to him for helping me get started. Thanks again Jerry.

Hello Sean,

The alive day is the amount of days that I am counting until I get to one-thousand. The Air Force couldn't get me killed and the insurgents tried every day in Iraq, so I was only going to 365, but, since I have enjoyed being alive and free, I thought I would go until the end of three years. Also, I am a disabled Vet too. I hope this helps to answer your question.

John
