I was wondering what's the best thing for using to fill holes in plastic? My kitbashing project has alot of holes I need to fill! Then what grits of sandpaper do I need to smooth it all up when it cures?

I use Squadron Green Putty. After letting it set for a day or more, I wet sand it with 400 and 600 grit sand paper. One thing I've found is that the putty shrinks, so sometimes it takes a couple applications.

Since I use MEK for most of my projects, something I have done in the past is when my adhesive bottles get low I put scrap plastic into the jar to make a psuedo putty and apply that with a toothpick. Has worked well for me but I suggest testing on a sacrificial shell first.
My two cents on it. Ray
just me Ray... and just because I have Tyco doesn't mean I am not a model railroader

Ray, I've used the styrene slurry method in MEK or lacquer thinner too, but more as a gap filling adhesive. Unless you make it very thick, it's too runny for puttying.
