That would look perfect hauling something like this:

No better use for a Tyco BN boxcar, I say. Those should be resold with paints and chalks as craft kits!

yeah, I mean why "totally redo it" there's lots of newish Tyco stuff out there. If you don't appreciate the "plant switcher" character of this, well just move along....!

Actually it looks pretty dead convincing as a short-line grunt. I recall there were a couple alcos working a small grain short line in IL some years ago that looked almost as bad. For what it is, that loco has more authentic character than a lot of other repaints I've seen.
