I have a Tyco GG-1 which has stopped running. One of the gears between the motor and wheels are woren. The motor runs but the wheels do not turn. Does anyone know of a source for motor parts for the GG-1? Thank you.

There are some posts on repairing the Power Torque motor that is in the GG1 on the forum if you look a bit . This may help you narrow down your problem. You may have a slipping pinion gear that comes off the armature shaft and touches or drives the biggest round gear. You could mix some epoxy, some use lock tight, and spread some inside the opening on the gear with a tooth pick, then carefully slide it down the shaft but not to tightly aganst the motor block.
Best of luck.

Look at the pinion gear ( the tiny one on the motor shaft ). are the teeth bad? Then check the huge gear that interacts with it. Is IT chewed up?

Those are the two problem gears to look at usually. There are no "new" or replacement parts available, but I have parts motors, if you tell me which are bad, and / or send pics of both, I may can help you out with replacement parts.

The Tyco GG-1 one is somewhat rare and the real only common and easy parts to have had are just the drivetrain parts. All tyco powertorques parts are interchangable except that the Steamer that are PT powered block and commuter cover/brush holder won't work.

Unless you can see broken/worn gear teeth, I can't think of anything it could be besides a slipping pinion gear AF's advice is good. I've always had good luck with a small drop of super glue on the top of the gear
