Thanks Adam
I'll have to order some stuff. I have a second RSD-4/5, four RS-3's (One unbult in box) a Switcher Chassis/power kit, one of their PA's in the box from the 50's or 60's, a GP-9/20/XX chassis with the old Athearn GP9 shell on it and an F7 chassis with a Globe CNR shell to be replaced with a Cary metal one. The GP chassis will also get a Cary GP shell and the Switcher Chassis will get a Cary S-2/4 Shell. LOVE METAL.
Love the old HT's!

Gareth,
I wish I was around when the Cary and Hobbytown kits were new, they just dont make them like they used to. I love the Cary shells the GP-9 is my favorite, nothing like being able to pull like a real train with one engine.

Adam:
Earlier this year I dropped in to visit Guildford Mack, he's the guy that was Mr Tiger Valley from beginning to end. His home layout has many hundreds of feet of mainline run and he has pulled a 100+ pieces of rolling stock with his all metal Alco's. Try to imagine if HT were making Century class Alco's you'd get the idea. Anyway, he had to convert to the old Mantua metal loop `n Hook couplers because he was consistantly breaking Kaydee's and the hron hooks. He has over 600 Locomotives! I'm goona stop in again in the next couple weeks on my ay to New York to get my Custom updated C-424 Ph3 CPR as delivered unit, lacking only a motor and see if I can talk him into selling me one of the custom RS-27's he's done for his own Tiger Valley Lines I think it's called. he's retired now but he cast some conversion kiits for me cause I was willing to come t the house. Dewitt RS-3M Altoona and DeWitt conversions and teh D&H RS-3m units that Morris-Knudsen converted for them. Geez, I'll have to either get some of his RS-3's or more HT RS-3's! He also does Canadian specific Alco's, MLW's. gotta talk to him a bout that....

Gareth,
You should try and get us some picture if you can :) Would really like to see that, breaking couplers, that is alot of cars to cause that. I bet you have to get every car to scale weight when doing that or turns could be a problem.
